TDE is providing commissioning services for the 143-unit low-income housing apartment building located in the SOMA district of San Francisco. We were hired by the project MEP engineering firm to verify that LEED credits are being met by the current design and to consult on direction in obtaining LEED certification. Credits being evaluated by TDE are in the categories of Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, and Environmental Quality. Services include review of design documents, balancing reports, energy and water use calculations, developing the commissioning plan and reports and serving as the commissioning authority for the project to assure the systems meet the stringent requirements of LEED Silver certification.
