Synergy Living Inc, California commissioned Timmons Design Engineers in association with LMS Architects to develop an assisted living facility to cater for residents at 624 Laguna Street in San Francisco, California. TDE provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Sustainable design.

The Facility is a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (R-2.1 Occupancy) with limited outside services including dining and laundry facilities on the resident’s floors and a ground level Kitchen. Full ADA compliance is provided in all guest areas. The building is a type 1-hour fire resistive three-story wood frame building of approximately 6500 sq. feet with basement and a roof terrace. The mechanical systems for the new Synergy Assisted Living space have been designed to optimize performance, minimize maintenance and energy use and give careful consideration to the construction budget. The mechanical systems design will follow the developments in the architectural design process.
